Hi HN, I’m Kyle and together with Andrew (https://news.ycombinator.com/user?id=stanleydrew) we’ve been working on Riza (https://riza.io), a project to make WASM sandboxing more approachable. We’re excited to share a developer preview of our code interpreter API with HN. There’s a bit of a backstory here. A few months ago, an old coworker reached out asking how to execute untrusted code generated by an LLM. Based on our experience building a plugin system for sqlc (https://sqlc.dev), we thought a sandboxed WASM runtime would be a good fit. A bit of hacking…

I've built this to make it easy to host your own infra for lightweight VMs at large scale. Intended for exec of AI-generated code, for CICD runners, or for off-chain AI DApps. Mainly to avoid Docker-in-Docker dangers and mess. Super easy to use with CLI / Python SDK, friendly to AI engs who usually don't like to mess with VM orchestration and networking too much. Defense-in-depth philosophy. Would love to get feedback (and contributors: clear & exciting roadmap!), thx

Dear HN community! Looking forward to hearing your feedback on ACE (assured confidential execution), technology that implements VM-based trusted execution environment (TEE) for embedded RISC-V systems with focus on a formally verified and auditable firmware. We target high-assurance systems that can benefit from compartmentalization and hardware-backed isolation. The key ingredient called security monitor (firmware) is implemented in Rust. The formal specification is defined as annotations directly in code and gets translated to Coq using RefinedRust automation. ACE design is now part of the…

Hi HN, we built SuperHQ, an open source app that runs AI coding agents in isolated microVM sandboxes instead of directly on your machine. Each agent gets its own VM with a full Debian environment. You mount your projects in, writes go to a tmpfs overlay so your host is never touched, and you get a diff view to accept or discard changes. API keys never enter the sandbox. We also just launched remote.superhq.ai which acts as a remote control for SuperHQ, allowing you to access your workspaces and agents from anywhere.

Hello Hacker News! We're Yangqing, Xiang and JJ from lepton.ai. We are building a platform to run any AI models as easy as writing local code, and to get your favorite models in minutes. It's like container for AI, but without the hassle of actually building a docker image. We built and contributed to some of the world's most popular AI software - PyTorch 1.0, ONNX, Caffe, etcd, Kubernetes, etc. We also managed hundreds of thousands of computers in our previous jobs. And we found that the AI software stack is usually unnecessarily complex - and we want to change that. Imagine if you are a…

Hey HN After one too many customer firedrills regarding hallucinating or insecure AI models, we built a system to catch these issues before they reached production. The Arthur Engine has been running in Fortune 100 to AI Native Start-Ups over the past two years, putting security controls around more than 10 billion tokens in production every month. We're now opening up this service to developers, enabling you to leverage enterprise-grade solutions to provide guardrails and evals as a service, all for free. Get it on Github (https://github.com/arthur-ai/arthur-engine) to…

Hi HN , I got tired of writing the same boilerplate over and over — DB setup, auth, routes, security — every time I built a backend. So I built Pipo360 — an AI-powered tool that generates production-ready backends in under 60 seconds, from just a plain-text description. How it works: Type what you need “Create a task management API with user auth and MongoDB” Hit Generate Get real, exportable code Auth (JWT) Database schema CRUD routes Deployable to Vercel, AWS, etc. No templates. No lock-in. Just code that works. Why it’s different: Built with Gemini AI + human supervision (to ensure real…

I built an open-source AI agent for security testing to find and fix vulnerabilities in your code. I’ve noticed how bad security vulnerabilities have gotten with everyone shipping AI code slop, so I wanted to build something that allows for vibe-coding at full speed without compromising security. Traditional security tools aren’t effective, and manual pen-testing can’t keep up with the rapidly growing AI code This tool runs your code dynamically, finds vulnerabilities, and validates them through actual exploitation. You can either run it against your codebase or enter your (or someone…

We built an open-source library of 125 GTM (go-to-market) skills that plug into AI coding agents like Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor. With these skills an AI agent can automatically: - Find ICP leads from conference speakers, LinkedIn activity, or job boards - Generate personalized cold email sequences - Monitor competitor blogs, pricing pages, and hiring signals - Generate programmatic SEO pages from keyword lists - Track where your brand appears in ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Claude answers --- How skills work Each skill is a structured markdown file containing instructions, scripts, and tool…
