Products that do what Text “carols” to 907.312.1412 for Christmas carol lyrics does
I built this a couple days ago after seeing carolers lyric books and thinking, "Who has printers and copiers anymore?" Here's a pic of the menu. Any songs I should add? http://imgur.com/3ZhAqGd Disclosure: I'm a Twilio developer evangelist.

TLDR - scratched my own itch with an app, added a pro plan and got my first subscribers this week! Last December I started digging into poetry, it was a topic I always thought I liked, but just hadn’t explored very much. I soon discovered that a lot of the poetry sites online had pretty annoying designs, e.g. ads right at the end of the poem, (muting any emotional impact). I also wanted to be able to easily save a list of my favourites to come back to. I decided to build and release a react native app which addressed these needs/issues. It took about 4 weeks during the winter break to…

@cmpyl Tweet a line of python at it (right now it works best with math) and it'll tweet back at you the return value. Ex: https://twitter.com/#!/cmpyl/status/186850674053615616 Pretty useless little bot but it will be cool to see what sort of wild one liners it finds.

Hi HN! In the last couple of weeks I've been working on Cranki: Cranki = Crosswords + Anki. (It's a stupid name tbh, haha) I like doing crosswords in Spanish (to learn vocab) but none of the apps out there allowed me to use my own list of words that I come across. So I built one instead. It's entirely client-side. No server, no database, no accounts, etc. Your words and stats are stored in local storage. I built this for myself but let me know if you like it!

One station to find per day, 2 or 3 gamemodes depending on the city (if your city is not live yet, or you can't find it in the selector, try https://dailymetro.live/cityname/mode/classic ) Like https://dailymetro.live/sf/mode/classic for San Francisco Got huge traction in France, so I thought maybe you'll like it here too :) Made with Claude code but still took at least 50-100h of dev/design/taking user feedbacks ahahah Hope you like it

As you can tell, I haven't really been sure how to pitch this site. Maybe it's trying to do too much. It's still a work in progress, but I would love to get some feedback. Thanks HN! HOWTO: http://groktar.com/?m=kTD4PzaNwv Lagrima: http://groktar.com/?m=TLZgtrjM6n

Some of you may know me as a freelance developer and the founder of BugMuncher, but my primary passion in life is actually music. I've recently decided to have a go at making some money from my music by submitting songs to Audio Jungle. So far I've only submitted 2 songs, but both were approved for sale first time, so I guess I'm doing something right :) My second submission is a song I wrote specifically with tech start-ups' landing page videos in mind: http://audiojungle.net/item/introducing-success/3581039 Hopefully it can find a home on someone's landing page :)

Hi HN, I've been reading for a few years now and thought I'd like to share my weekend project with you. Five.Seven.Five. is a place for fans of Haiku to publish, comment and share their poetry. I recently left work to start building my own web applications and thought this would be an interesting project to gear up to that. There's not a lot of content at the moment so if any other HN'ers are interested in Haiku, please feel free to sign up and publish your own Haikus. http://www.myfivesevenfive.com/ Of course, I welcome any constructive feedback and am interested to hear your thoughts.…

The idea is to get from a starting word to a target word by creating a list of words to go in the middle. You can only change one letter at a time. Yesterday's words: https://twitter.com/ChangelistGame/status/1518695582151237632 Today's game: https://changelist.rocks/

Hi all, I have always wanted to create a community dedicating to creating the work place more positive. Right now, it's only jokes. I am working on a revision of this that will just place the community page right in front and do away with the landing page. I welcome and appreciate any cheesy thoughts, critiques or suggestions you might have. In the pipeline: jokes, quotes and ideas on how to make the work place more positive! -V.

Try it at: ssh krnl.duetbrowser.com No sign up, totally free - no download. Let me know what you think. Prior art exists (brow.sh) but I wasn't satisfied with their graphical take. I wanted the raw, old skool terminal days of the early internet - BBS, and old green phosphor library comptuers - but running the modern web, with all the bells and jingle jangle whistles (JavaScript, etc). No funding, no VC, just 100% raw terminal fun. Not sure how long the demo will last, but try it out.

Hey any astrophysicist reading hn there? Was sick in august (yeah isn't that nice) and made a small python fits table viewer for the terminal with textual. It would be great to have people try it so if you find any issue I can improve it. If you have no FITS file but would like to try regardless there are some test file in `/test`. Ciao!

I know quotes and code might not mix, but I'd love HN to check out our latest project that three of us code to collect quotes :). The idea is simple: to have a beautiful place to collect and share quotes. It will be fully plugged into twitter and facebook yet all the noises are filtered away. Since all three of us are doing this for the first time, any comments would be appreciated. Thanks HN! http://quoti.ca/?invite_key=showhn

Hi HN, I have been studying languages as a hobby for a large portion of my life. Hence, I decided to create a spaced repetion app with the techniques that have helped me the most so far. It's aims to be made simple for the regular user to plug and play. I'd love to hear your feedback!
