Products that do what The Fuck Cards – make a card for a friend or enemy does
The Fuck Card started years ago as a physical card I printed for some friends. Now it's this simple web app you can use to express yourself. Quickly make a card, copy the link and send it to someone who deserves it. It's fun and there's lots you can say with it. I built it built in 100% handcrafted in Vanilla HTML, CSS and JS. No frameworks, no BS. Fonts are provided by Google Fonts. Image generation thanks to html2canvas. No-tracking analytics by Matomo. It started as a weekend project to train my JS skills. I'd love to know your thoughts.

So, I drew inspiration from social media - where all you need is a couple photos and text fields to get a great site online. So, I think I’ve about achieved a site builder that even my Mom could use. The product seems simple, but there are many under-the-hood optimizations. There's caching, CDNs, custom domain support, TLS…

I built this small app for fun, to play with image generation thanks to Vercel’s new library [1]. You enter your GitHub username (or anyone’s), and it generates an image with a few info about your account. [1] https://vercel.com/docs/concepts/functions/edge-functions/og...

Hi HN, I’ve been working on a small project that transforms handwritten notes into animated, shareable cards. While the create functionality isn’t live yet, I wanted to share a sneak peek by creating a handwritten Christmas card specifically for the HN community. I started thinking about this after seeing too many AI-generated cards, cookie-cutter email templates, and overly polished designs that lack any personal touch. A friend recently sent me a handwritten card in the mail, and I found it nice that he took his time to write a handwritten note. I wanted to capture that same feeling…
