Products that do what The lengths I will go to in order to find a technical co-founder does

My day job is managing a UX team at Intuit's global division. But I've had an idea bouncing around my head for the past few months that won't go away -- a B2B Web application that will dramatically improve the quality of life for anyone has to regularly attend meetings as part of their job. Everyone talks about hating meetings (especially people who work in companies with more than 500 employees), but meetings can be productive and even enjoyable, if the person who sets it up actually knows what they're doing. This idea of mine will quickly help companies uncover its employees' bad meeting…

Hi Guys, I got overwhelming support and feedback from my last post about secondfounder.com but still, I felt the need of connecting founders together so that they can together buy a side project. It's very often when a non-technical founder buys a project they have to find a technical founder to take that project further. Today I have implemented this feature in secondfounder.com Link: https://secondfounder.com/find-founder Your feedback is always welcome. Thanks

I believe that doing /something/ with someone over and over again is the best way to meet a cofounder. When I get enough people (6-20) in a given city, I will organize an event along the lines of playing board games, going to a driving range, or volunteering in some way. The main point is that it's not just people drinking or standing around, they have to be active participants in the activity. The goal is for you to go to a number of these events, see how others behave and start to build relationships with them. Then you go off and build something with them. Would love to hear…

I’m a non-technical idea guy and a business guy that has been successful in my work for other startups. As someone who has been a founding employee at more than one startup, I’ve gotten to a point where I am sitting on ideas I think are brilliant and would love to build. I’ve noticed how difficult it is to find a technical co-founder, let alone convince them to come on board with an idea. That turned into a project for me, learn to build something myself. So I built a site that is meant to help idea/marketing guys connect with technical co-founders and vice versa.…

Hi guys I know ur time is valuable so I will keep this short. Ever since I was in uni I saw that its been difficult for people finding collaborators for your project/startup. Building something is easier than ever but finding collaborators has never been more difficult. so I interviewed 1083 users (yea i know thats a lot but i needed some validation hehe). Half of them did not hear about yc cofounder matching and other platforms and the ones who were using them still found it quite painful and exhausting and they got no one from there. I found that in most cases for my users the only…

We’re forming small groups of startups (5-10 per group) to get together and discuss problems, progress, and knowledge amongst each other. The monthly conference calls (about an hour long) will allow the startups to monitor each other's traction and hold one another accountable for meeting individual goals/milestones. We want the sessions to be results-oriented and constructive. We will handle the annoying bits like matching startups and scheduling sessions. All you have to do is join a circle and stay committed for about an hour each month. We believe in the power of peer collaboration, so…

I've been experimenting with ways to increase AI adoption for non-technical people. Basically, all companies are pushing for AI because it's all over the news and they feel left behind but most people have no clue where to start. I think 90% of people (ie non coders) are sufficiently well served by using cowork instead of claude code or something similar. If we can get people from sales, customer support, marketing, etc to collaborate with skills and cowork to form a company brain, I think it's gold. So I think there's opportunity for the community to share skills that work well for 1000s of…

I have done it. I quit my job and started a company. And I have to say it was the best decision I’ve ever made. http://talk-about-jack.com Since I’m a tech guy and starting a company is about more than just having an app, I asked two friends of mine - which happen to be pros on their respective fields: business and marketing - if they would join me. They liked my idea and both said yes and quit their jobs. So, it can’t be that bad of an idea, right? The first thing we hear every time we tell someone about Talk About Jack is: “But webchats do already exist? Why another one?”. We aim…

Hi, As part of dog fooding my own platform, Strmr.com - I decided to try to do remote online consulting for 5$ per session (mostly one hour slots). I'm hoping this can be an interesting experiment as I'm hoping to get a wider view of what kind of problems the industry is dealing with, as well as expand my network, possibly with like minded founders. Strmr.com is a platform for online professional services. It allows creating groups of providers to organize together. If you think this is of interest for you - please reach out through the contact form - I'm looking for more founders to join me…
