Hey HN! We're launching Founderpath today to help saas founders raise cash without diluting their company Instead of a merchant cash advance needing to be paid back within 6-12 months, our standard deal is 15% interest, 4 year payback, $200k check We get no equity, no warrants, no weird covenants, and don't require personal guarantees This cash is way cheaper than if you were to raise from a VC (normally diluting your equity pool by 20%+ and losing a lot of control via a board seat and veto powers) We're around all day today showing demos & answering questions over at…

Hi there, So a buddy a couple of days ago came up with the idea for a new SaaS product regarding gpt and image generation. We did a quick MVP that barely works, it breaks almost 50% of the time but we still wanted to validate the idea before going all in. We have almost 1k followers on Twitter together. Did a quick post describing the idea with a stripe link in the comments with a 5$ value, no landing page, and no shipped product. In exchange, the buyers become beta users. Around 30 mins later we got our first sale next 30 mins another 5$ and so on. Do we consider the idea validated? The…

Hey HN,I'm Arthur, solo founder here. After struggling to get consistent traffic for my own startup, I realized I was spending more time guessing how to market than actually building. So I made something small but useful. MediaFast is a simple tool that gives you daily marketing roadmaps for Reddit, X, and LinkedIn. No fluff, just concrete tasks that help you get seen. It covers: – Where and how to post on Reddit without getting banned – What to tweet to get engagement as a SaaS founder – How to grow LinkedIn with cold DMs and soft content Since launching, I’ve gotten 15k+ visitors and $5.7k…

I wanted to find a product idea to build. "Build things people want," right? So I thought, why not literally find people saying what they want? I wrote a script to collect thousands of Reddit posts where people are looking for a solution or complaining about a problem. Then I used GPT to filter out the noise and score each one based on how viable the idea seemed. Threw together a simple search interface so anyone can explore them. I was planning to build a more advanced paid version of this, but figured I'd share the raw version first to see if it's actually useful to anyone.

Excited to share something I've been building recently called ReplyGuy. I made it to solve a personal pain with a SaaS product I built, which was that we were always monitoring Reddit and Twitter to see if anyone had mentioned keywords indicating they were looking for us. Before, we had to go manually respond to posts, often missing good mention opportunities. Would love for HN folks to try it and let me know what you think!

Hey everyone! I wanted to share a tool I built to help you quickly find potential customers across social media for your product. It's a really simple concept: you simply paste in your landing page URL, and it shows you highly relevant posts across Reddit (Working to integrate few more) from people who likely need your product or service. For example, if you have a minimal to-do list app, it will show you posts like "Anyone know of a minimal to-do list app?" or "Really starting to dislike how complex Notion is." These posts are from the last 48 hours, updated in real-time, and uniquely…

I setup this up about two months ago and seeded it with a variety of questions about stuff SaaS related but it ultimately ran out of steam. I truly think there's a need for real honest to goodness web forum for SaaS enthusiasts as forums often turn into a gold mine of quality content as the user base grows and matures. So this is my attempt to get this thing some exposure and get some users for it. It's not meant as a replacement for Hacker News at all, as HN is a perfect platform for trends and current news. But I think it's lacking when it comes to fostering long term topic discussion…

I made a post a few days ago asking if any software companies/start ups needed technical video tutorial writers and I had a few very interested and serious respondents email me. I've been looking for something to do with this domain hence I give myself a Christmas present.
