I spent a lot of time and money on this rather big side project of mine that attempts to replicate the mechanistic interpretability research on proprietary LLMs that was quite popular this year and produced great research papers by Anthropic [1], OpenAI [2] and Deepmind [3]. I am quite proud of this project and since I consider myself the target audience for HackerNews did I think that maybe some of you would appreciate this open research replication as well. Happy to answer any questions or face any feedback. Cheers [1]…

I've been building computer-use tools for a while, and I quietly launched this about a month ago (122 Stars on GH). I figured it was worth sharing here. Over the last few months, a lot of computer-use agents have come out: Codex, Claude Code, CUA, and others. Most of them seem to work roughly like this: 1. Take a screenshot 2. Have the model predict pixel coordinates 3. Click x,y 4. Take another screenshot 5. Repeat That works, but it's slow, expensive in tokens, and fragile. If the UI shifts a few pixels, things break. And the model still doesn't know what any element actually is. But the…

There's been some interesting work lately with BrowserAI (runs LLMs in the browser using WebGPU) enabling local, private AI processing. Now, the team has released BrowserAgent - a no-code tool built on top of it. BrowserAgent lets you create custom AI workflows using a drag-and-drop interface, all within your browser. This means personalized web summarizers, research assistants, or content generators can all run locally with no cloud costs and full data privacy. Check it out here - https://browseragent.dev Key features include: - No-Code Workflow Builder: Design custom AI agents…

We’ve just released Berri AI - a Python package https://github.com/ClerkieAI/berri_ai that makes it easy for developers to quickly deploy their LLM Agent from Google Colab to production (Web App and API Endpoint). Building LLM Apps can require working in online coding environments, like Colab, due to local environment limitations (e.g. running pytorch on older Macs). This can cause long dev cycles when deploying the app to production, as ported changes can only be tested once it is deployed after lengthy (>20min+) Docker builds. Berri lets you deploy directly from your…

Hey HN, I built browser-use, an open-source alternative to OpenAI’s Operator for browser-use systems, and here’s why I think it’s better: Flexibility: You can use any LLM with our tool – Gemini, Anthropic, Qwen, Llama, DeepSeek, and more. As new models improve, so does your agent. Open Source: No need to pay $200/month or endure long waitlists – it’s free and accessible to everyone today. Custom Automation: Our Python package allows you to build actual web automations. Your LLM can gain new tools, like file uploads. Cost: Our system is 30x cheaper than Operator, e.g., when used with…

We built meta-agent: an open-source library that automatically and continuously improves agent harnesses from production traces. Point it at an existing agent, a stream of unlabeled production traces, and a small labeled holdout set. An LLM judge scores unlabeled production traces as they stream. A proposer reads failed traces and writes one targeted harness update at a time, such as changes to prompts, hooks, tools, or subagents. The update is kept only if it improves holdout accuracy. On tau-bench v3 airline, meta-agent improved holdout accuracy from 67% to 87%. We open-sourced meta-agent.…

How it works (tech stack): -Built entirely with Lovabl.dev (no-code front-end + logic) -ChatGPT / Claude for research and inspiration -Powered by GPT-4 Vision to interpret charts visually -Hosted on Supabase for performance & caching It’s not meant to replace analysts — just to speed up how traders interpret data. I’m a designer exploring AI tools, and this is my first attempt to turn an idea into a functional product. Would love to know what you think.

Hey HN! I built PRISM-INSIGHT, a multi-agent system where 13 specialized AI agents collaborate to analyze Korean stocks (KOSPI/KOSDAQ). It's completely open source and has been running live since March 2025. [What it does] The system automatically detects surging stocks twice daily, generates analyst-level reports, and executes trading strategies. Each agent specializes in something different – technical analysis, trading flows, financials, news, market conditions, etc. They work together like a real research team. [Why I built this] I wanted to see if GPT-4 and GPT-5 could genuinely…
