Hi HN! Thanks for your attention to my post. It was a big challenge to run most of Node.js packages in browser, fast moreover. Virtual File system, resolve import/export. I got cold many times, depressions, burned out, yet still alive and finished it. Many guys helped me with an advice. Many users give a lot of positive feedback. Author here. I really love the programming paradigm behind by Phoenix LiveView applications and wanted to expand the ecosystem to include programmers like myself that love Typescript. In summary, LiveViewJS reuses all the Phoenix client code and implemented a new backend in Typescript to handle client events and send back updates. Lots more detail and examples in the repo. I needed a way to let users write JavaScript to create plugins for a site I'm building. I couldn't find a solution I was happy with, so ended up building one that run's it in a web worker on a separate domain from your main site. Hopefully I haven't missed anything. About a year ago, I stumbled upon a new Nodejs language called "Imba", I found this language to be interesting and it seemed like it had a lot of potential.
