I've been wanting a "pro-feel" Twitter stats dashboard for a while now. Inspired by Geckoboard I built TweetBoard.me If you're a Twitter power user you might like it :) Looks best in full screen! Note: There were problems when first launched but now it should be working at the real address: http://TweetBoard.me (Not working on mobile)

I've always dreamed about a project like that when looking at status boards at other companies. We finally had the time to do our own. Here are some photos: http://www.flickr.com/photos/robert_olejnik/sets/72157633736087905/ The stack: Django, mustache.js, Chart.js, Bootstrap and custom Supybot plugin. Maybe will be inspiration for someone else ;-) Do you guys have similar status boards? Cheers, Robert.

I'm currently traveling the world and I was tired of having to download 2MB+ of data to open any link on Twitter and wait 10+ seconds for it to load. Data is expensive abroad and I don't have LTE everywhere. So I built a Twitter bot @NativeArticle that automatically tweets screenshots of the mobile version of a url. Images load much faster on Twitter than opening the original page. And it only takes a fraction of the data needed (about 65-80KB per screenshot). I recently finished the Front-End Web Development program at General Assembly in San Francisco. My final project turned out being a quick, easy, and free way to convert a Tweet into various properly formatted citations. This weekend a well-known comedian was live-tweeting sardonic commentary for a new Lifetime movie. It got me thinking that it would be cool to be able to replay his tweets later so that someone who missed the live show would be able to sync them up with the movie. That, along with the fact that I've had lots of fun on Twitter during big events (like the elections), made me think that it'd be a fun hack to put together a Twitter playback site. So last night and tonight I threw together http://www.twitterplayback.com. Check it out an let me know what you think!
