Hey everyone, I built a simple React/Python app that takes screenshots of websites and converts them to clean HTML/Tailwind code. It uses GPT-4 Vision to generate the code, and DALL-E 3 to create placeholder images. To run it, all you need is an OpenAI key with GPT vision access. During the hype of llama.ttf months ago, I was speculating the potential of WASM shaper for even crazier purpose, one that fitter to a font shaper's duty -- to synthesize font at runtime. Hi everyone, I build some "online" converters as a side project in the last weeks. The difference to existing conversion websites is, that my converters don't upload your files. Everything happens in your browser on your device (with the help of a lot of great Open Source Javascript libraries). I think privacy is an essential feature for a service like this, so my converters also don't use google analytics or any other form of tracking (in fact they use no external resources at all). Hi HN – Excited to share a beta for Minard, a new data visualization toolkit we've been working on that lets you generate publication-quality charts with simple natural language (throw away your matplotlib docs and rejoice!). Upload or import CSVs, Excel, and JSON, give it a spin, and please let us know what you think! I vibe-coded a speech-to-text tool for Wayland that works for me. You trigger it with a keybind, speak into your mic, and it transcribes using OpenAI Whisper or Google STT (local is coming), then either types it directly into your active text field or saves it to the clipboard.
