Products that do what UnmangedMemory does

A high-performance unmanaged memory library for .NET

I've been working on implementing the compile-time approach to memory management described in this thesis (https://www.cl.cam.ac.uk/techreports/UCAM-CL-TR-908.pdf) for some time now - some of the performance results look promising! (Although some less so...) I think it would be great to see this taken further and built into a more complete functional language.

Hey HN, we’re launching OpenMemory (https://github.com/mem0ai/mem0/tree/main/openmemory), an open source tool that lets you run a personal, portable memory layer for LLMs. Fully self-hosted and under your control. It uses standard MCP protocol and plugs into any MCP client (like Cursor, Windsurf, Claude, etc.) over Server-Sent Events (SSE). https://mem0.ai/blog/how-to-make-your-clients-more-context-a... is a complete tutorial that shows how to set it up locally, the underlying components involved, complete overview of architecture and…

This is a project that I have been building for a while now, YourMemory is a solution to agentic memory which focuses on pruning of noise rather than hoarding of data. In the current state of agentic memory most of the context is stored in the form of a MD file or is derived through a RAG model where you store each and everything. Both of the solution leads to bloated context which does not optimize the usage of any tokens. In this system we only keep relevant data in our memory and prune all the unnecessary data. The relevance of a data is derived through multiple factors such as recall…

It's an biological inspired decay system for our memories with extended support of temporal reasoning. Created a CLI command to infer knowledge from the context stored in memory system without any token utilization or llm call. It comes with a memory dashboard to monitor and manage your memories it can be extended as audit trail for agents as well !

Hi, over the past few months I've been working on this project: Numax is a small Rust runtime that does three things: it runs WebAssembly modules in a sandbox, has a built-in local key-value store, and syncs everything across nodes with CRDTs and gossip. Basically, you write a wasm module, run it on two machines, and they converge (I hope !). It's a decentralized system... I hope someone finds it interesting! There's a whitepaper I've put a lot into, and I think the code isn't bad either! I believe there's still room in this world for software that's fun and well made, and while building…

Hey HN, we’re the developers of OpenLake, an open source storage engine for offloading LLM KV caches from GPU memory into a shared tier of RAM and NVMe. We built OpenLake because KV caches are outgrowing GPU memory. A single 256K token conversation on Gemma 4 31B produces approximately 43GB of KV state, more than half the memory of an 80GB H100. The problem becomes even harder across a cluster: a prefix cached on one GPU host is unavailable when the next request lands on a different GPU, forcing the new GPU to repeat work the fleet has already completed. Once the KV cache is offloaded,…
