Products that do what ValuePair – a friendship app that cares about values first does

Hey, I would like to show you my project, but it's difficult because it only works with a registration, so I explain the concept to you. The Idea: Everyone who registers has to do an onboarding and answer meaningful questions that help you to find a right match. The matching happens by the system. Once you're done with the onboarding, you enter the pool. When a match is found, you go into a 1on1 14 question-set with that person. All answers are revealed immediately. At the end both decide if they form a connection or not. Only if both agree, the chat opens. Once a connection is formed, they…

Hi HN! I made a really quick web app to help people validate their ideas. The app is a simple landing page builder, but every page includes a really simple Yes/No "Are You Interested?" poll. Every vote is recorded and tracked, and if they click yes they are brought to a page where they can submit an email. This makes validating ideas super easy because you can post your link to different communities and get statistically significant results as well as build an email list. Given an hour, you could easily create 50 different landing pages and be able to validate your ideas in bulk. The…

Hey Folks, I’ve been really annoyed with the search part of finding gifts. It’s hard to use keyword search for something when it’s an “I’ll know it when I see it” kind of deal. So I thought, what if we scraped/indexed TONS of products and then just focused on removing the things we don’t want and then see what’s left to see if there’s anything cool? I built it in Flutter so it's both iOS and Android but it could be web too. I’ve only just started the scraping/tagging of products and if anyone has suggestions for bulk tagging images/content I would love to hear them. That’s the…

http://repp.herokuapp.com Originally, my partner and I built this app internally (just in the past few days) to find trends and commonalities in our customer development process in the commercial real estate industry. However, as we kept getting responses about pain points in these professionals' lives, we decided that this information would be really useful to any entrepreneur looking for problems to solve. Right now the web app is super basic with no login or authentication. It's like a basic notepad. Ultimately the question is, do you find this sort of information useful? If not, what…
