After a few weeks of programming a few minutes at the time, next to my full time job, I created this tool that helps you pick your next book from your long(er) want-to-read list. In essence, it is a table with filters and column sorters. My problem was that the Goodreads website does not allow you to filter multiple columns at a time. Hi HN, I made a tool for self-publishing authors called SelfPubKit.com. The all-in-one editor allows you to write chapters, export them to epub, pdf. You can also publish product as a standalone website with direct payments set up with your Stripe account which means you get 100% of payments minus Stripe’s fee. tl;dr: Go to kindlehnbeta.pythonanywhere.com on your Kindle’s browser. I wrote a wrapper over hackernews that allows me to browse it on my Kindle. Simply visit kindlehnbeta.pythonanywhere.com on your Kindle’s browser. You’ll be able to view top stories, the comments within them and even the article content that the stories link to. The articles are parsed by a library that makes its best attempt to extract the main content. I only own a Kindle Oasis (10th Generation) and thus have only tested this on it.
