This is a simple single-file python program that can find basic XSS (cross-site scripting) vulnerabilities in a target url. Most XSS discovery tools use a payload refelection strategy in which payloads are injected in url parameters and the GET response is inspected for places where the payload content is reflected. This is a very low precision XSS detection strategy because most reflection does not support execution. This program uses a different approach, and instead opens the target url in a browser, tests alert(...) payloads directly in the browser context, and listens for an alert being…

I got seriously fascinated by the new GPT-4 Vision API introduced on OpenAI DevDay, so I decided to build a UX Audit tool with it. It's pretty simple to use - just go to https://uxaudit.vercel.app and enter your homepage or landing page URL. I'm using urlbox to get a screenshot of your page, then I utilize GPT-4V to analyze the screenshot and find potential usability and conversion issues. It also suggests solutions and highlights the relevant problem areas in the screenshot (although the position is sometimes inaccurate). Please let me know your thoughts and suggestions on how to…

I started using Claude Code (claude --dangerously-skip-permissions) and Codex (codex --yolo) and realized I had no reliable way to know what they actually did. The agent's own output tells you a story, but it's the agent's story. logira records exec, file, and network events at the OS level via eBPF, scoped per run. Events are saved locally in JSONL and SQLite. It ships with default detection rules for credential access, persistence changes, suspicious exec patterns, and more. Observe-only – it never blocks. https://github.com/melonattacker/logira

Last week, I got seriously fascinated by the new GPT-4 Vision API introduced on OpenAI DevDay, so I decided to build a UX Audit tool with this API. I'm using the urlbox API to get a screenshot of your page, then I utilize GPT-4V to analyze the screenshot, find potential usability and conversion issues, suggest fixes, and highlight the relevant areas in the screenshot (although the position is sometimes inaccurate). Last week, I launched it on Hacker News…

Hi HN, A few weeks ago, we stealth launched SEC Insights on Product Hunt and were thrilled to reach the top 5! What is SEC Insights? It harnesses the Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) capabilities of LlamaIndex to provide answers about SEC 10-K & 10-Q documents. The enthusiastic reception we received on Product Hunt prompted us to open-source our project. Now, developers can use our project either as a reference or they can fork it entirely for their LLM-powered applications. We at LlamaIndex built this to help developers move their LLM app ideas from prototype to production. We're very…
