I’m working on Portabase, a self-hosted, open-source tool for managing database backups and restores. It currently supports PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MariaDB, with MongoDB coming soon. It uses an agent-based architecture with a central server and lightweight agents, enabling deployment at the edge and operation across multiple networks.
