Products that do what WARN Firehose – Every US layoff notice in one searchable database does
Hi HN, I built WARN Firehose because I was frustrated trying to track layoff data across the US. The WARN Act requires companies with 100+ employees to file public notices 60 days before mass layoffs — but the data is scattered across 50 state websites with different formats, broken links, and no API. Hey HN! I've been individually checking WARN notice pages about layoffs for a little while and I wanted to build a tool that would bring them all to one place, and email me anytime something comes up with a target keyword. I've got a POC built out with a few items but I wanted to see if anyone else would be interested in this kind of thing before I spend some more time on it. Appreciate your feedback!
