Hey HN, I've been working on this side project for the past month. It generates a step-by-step tutorial guide for YouTube videos that you can follow along without watching long videos. Best suited for tutorial videos but can work for other videos aswell. No BS. Just straight to the point. The guides are generated from pure transcript so you don't have to worry about it being AI. It's my first project as a total beginner. Something I had to do inorder to get out of tutorial hell. Please let me know if you have any suggestions or if you face any problems or bugs. I would try to fix them to the…

Hi, I'm a high school teacher from Australia and I've built what I'd like to think is a pretty nifty ChatGPT powered presentation tool for teachers. I'd love it if you could have a look at it and give me some of your feedback. I don't think there's much overlap with the HN crowd and school teachers, but I've been coming here for many years and thought I'd post here and see what you all think. Check it out if you have a minute and I'd be super happy to hear your feedback too. https://www.slidehero.ai/ You can jump in and have a play with the tool all you like ;) Cheers, Eli

Hi there! When Supabase announced their recent hackathon, I thought it was a good time to build something to learn more about so many of the new AI models and tech out there. From the different techniques of embedding documents to the future RAG. With the rise of short form content with TikTok and Youtube. A lot more knowledge is in videos than ever before. Finding specific answers within millions of videos can be difficult for any one person to go through. So the question is if there is Google that indexes text on website making it easier to find based on the context of on your question,…

I'm heavily relying on Reddit for my online research, but there are many repetitive questions and recommendations on subreddits, so I trained a GPT bot on over 100k r/BuyItForLife comments and posts to embody the collective knowledge of this Reddit community (and soon many other subreddits). Some posts I answered with the bot: - Request Post: Dishwashers. What’s currently the best dishwasher for home use? - Bot Answer: https://www.looria.com/bot?q=what%27s+currently+the+best+dis... - Request Post : Recommendations for hiking shoes? - Bot Answer:…

Hey HN! My name is Christian, and I’m the co-founder of https://frigade.ai. We’ve built an AI agent that automatically learns how to use any web-based product, and in turn guides users directly in the UI, automatically generates documentation, and even takes actions on a user’s behalf. Think of it as Clippy from the old MS Office. But on steroids. And actually helpful. You can see the agent and tool-calling SDK in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UPe0t3A1Vpg How is this different from other AI customer support products? Most AI "copilots" are really just…
