Hi all! We've built our fair share of LLM apps, everything from Shopify agents to real-time clones of "Samantha" from "Her". We started facing a lot of annoyances & issues repetitively with building functional apps. So we sifted through 97K posts from the OpenAI Community to confirm and find people with similar problems (& we did). It turns out that there are a handful of low-level problems that everybody who is building an AI app that works well needs to solve: statefulness to manage conversations interaction interface between multiple agents and multiple users. robust document search…

We built Weam because we felt existing AI tools didn’t work well for teams. Everything was scattered across chats, prompts, and workflows — hard to share, harder to organize. Weam is an open-source platform that tries to fix that. Organize prompts, chats, and agents into “Brains” (team folders). Run agents and even Pro Agents for workflows. Bring your own LLM keys (works with OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Llama, etc.). Self-hosted, so you keep control of your data. Includes RAG pipelines for document-based AI. It’s early but we’d love feedback. Repo here:…

Hi HN friends, we're Nima (nimabanai) and Craig (cbschind) from Assemble Labs (https://assemblelabs.co) building the hardware context layer for AI to help you write better firmware faster. We’ve built an MCP server that plugs into any AI tool you’re using (Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini, etc.) and brings complete hardware context (schematics, datasheets, etc.) to your existing environment (new app fatigue is real...) with accuracy and in real time. Our goal is to make writing and debugging firmware on custom hardware faster and easier. Try out the free beta release:…

I’ve always been looking for a solution to communicate larger technical systems faster. This includes a lot of known details and a technical de-risking plan. It is clear that LLMs need that structure and are capable of digesting it well. I’ve built MCP server for guiding the Cursor IDE through the plan that comes from the LLM assisted pipeline: PRD → TRD → Project files tree → Implementation Plan 1. The whole chain comes from one end-to-end solution 2. Codebase produced is easy to navigate by the automatically managed tracebility 3. Specification updates get reflected in tasks, so the flow…
