Hey HN. I've made a tool that parses RSS feeds and creates ready-to-post Tweets with ChatGPT.

I was frustrated with how I share ideas online. LinkedIn/X forces you to compress everything into hot takes. Research papers require months of work. And posting on social media increasingly feels like trying on outfits in ChatGPT until you find one that "fits" – performance over genuine thinking. I wanted something in between. A place where: - Half-formed ideas are okay - Thinking evolves over time (with revision history) - Garbage gets pruned naturally through format itself and status tracking (exploring → resolved → abandoned) So I built Kwegg. How it works: 1. You're in ChatGPT or…

I’ve created two sets of ”ChatGPT Custom Instructions” for folks using ChatGPT’s web interface (i.e. not via API). They aim to dramatically improve the quality, depth, nuance, and utility of all ChatGPT responses. Both of them instruct ChatGPT to begin its completion with a preamble designed to take advantage of how the attention mechanism attends to recent tokens. They relieve the user of having to determine a task-specific prompt, and turn even the simplest questions into high quality context for ChatGPT to attend to. The first (“Standard Edition”) is for both free and paid ChatGPT…

I’ve been using this for my own workflow and friends suggested I share it with them so I quickly threw together my first chrome extension! As an ex-editor, I think chatGPT is overlooked as an editor with everyone jumping straight into writing. Editing is essentially giving it as comprehensive a writing prompt as possible. Playing with the actual prompt also gets you a wide range of different results that grammarly/other apps cant really do. The x% has been changed tool was the first thing I built to see how intrusive chatGPT's editing was at a glance. My biggest struggle was trying to…

Hi everyone, I’ve been using ChatGPT to analyze my journal entries and to reflect with. It works great, I really liked it. I’ve managed to gain some good insights about myself and made improvements. However, there are a few problems: - ChatGPT only remembers key facts about you, it has limited memories - ChatGPT couldn't recall the content of conversations you had with it - For individual ChatGPT products, your private conversations might be used to train future models (see: https://help.openai.com/en/articles/5722486-how-your-data-is...) So, I decided to build my…
