24 alternatives to Ytics

Hello HN! I’m the maker of ytics.io. I built this because I was frustrated with the current state of web analytics. To use GA4 legally in Europe, you need a massive cookie banner, which ruins UX and causes you to lose ~30-50% of your data (users who reject or use ad-blockers). ytics is my attempt to fix this. It’s a privacy-first analytics platform that works without cookies, so you don’t need a consent banner (GDPR/PECR compliant). How it works technically: Instead of cookies/localStorage, we generate a daily-rotating hash based on the user’s request (IP + User Agent + Daily…

I'm a solo founder and I've been building Uplyt.io : a tool that connects to your Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Ads, and Search Console, then turns all that data into clear, actionable insights. No setup, no dashboard overload, just clarity. Why I built it: After years helping SMBs and marketing teams, I saw the same problem over and over: GA4 and ad platforms are too complex for 95% of people. Most users don’t need more data — they need direction. Uplyt is my take on solving that. Once connected, Uplyt gives you: – Insights like "your SEO conversions dropped -22% on mobile last week –…

Hi HN, As an indie hacker, the new Google Analytics (GA4) coming motivated me to look for a straightforward alternative that would also be affordable. I had a few basic product requirements and didn’t want to spend too much to replace a free product. There are a lot of great Google Analytics alternatives out there, but the pricing didn’t seem right. As someone who likes to just build things, many of which aren’t businesses yet, it didn’t make sense to pay for options like Plausible and Fathom out of the gate. So I joined with a friend to build Beam Analytics. Beam gives you all the standard…

After months of using Google Analytics I realized only about 50% of people accepted my cookie-popup. I had months of incorrect data for my website. I started looking for alternatives and eventually found Plausible, which is great (and open-source). Problem is, I didn't feel like paying 9$ a month to see the amount of visitors on a website i didn't even earn anything on, it was just a hobby project. Eventually I started making my own web analytics. Which actually isn't that hard. It took me about a month of working on my spare time every now and then. Being GDPR compliant basically means to…

Hi HN, Yura here, co-founder of Alphie. In my previous YC company, we got a lot of good traffic, but only about 3% of it ever converted to demos. We tried RB2B and many other visitor resolution tools - but weren't happy with the accuracy. So, after that company was acquired, we decided to build our own platform. We've found a way to achieve a much higher ID rate and accuracy than most of the previous-generation visitor ID tools. Company-level visitor identification is about 3 times more accurate than individual-level. We use a waterfall of several data providers to boost it a bit further.…

I've been building a lot of landing pages and small sites lately, and i wanted analytics on them. Google analytics was the obvious first option, but i didn't want it for privacy reasons. Also, some privacy blockers block them. Plausible was the next best thing, but having a VPS for sites which that doesn't get too much traffic, felt too much. So i built Edgemetry. Its a worker, a bit of frontend, and a D1 database. Everything runs in Cloudflare's free tier. If you've got a site that doesn't get ton of traffic but you still wnat to see your visitors and their actions, give it a go.

I built YAAT for EU companies that can't of send data to US servers or being locked into pre-built dashboards that can't answer custom questions. What makes it different: Direct SQL access to your data. Not just pre-built reports – write actual queries against your raw events. Want to know which UTM campaigns convert best for mobile users in Germany? Write the query, get the answer, save it as a dashboard panel. Hey everyone! I am an enthusiast trader and a year ago I had this idea to create a free-to-use website that would feature all the most essential tools that traders would use on a daily basis. So I learned to code and build it—I did everything including design, texts, code, and SEO—which took me 12 months to launch and a year and a half to make it look like it currently does. I was into marketing and design before, but I didn't know barely anything about coding. The website is built using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, and Typescript with Framer Motion animations and lots of APIs. I’m actively…
