What it does
I went around town and took macro shots of cracks and crevices and grunge-looking surfaces. I then edited them to make them perfect to use as texture overlays in your photo edits to give your photos that extra touch.

Jump right to the textures . Textures are a great way to add visual effects and dimension to your photos. Photoshop and layer blend modes make it easy to compose images and add textures as overlays. The textures can then be tweaked (resized, rotated, blurred-up, etc.) to fit your photos just right. These free Photoshop textures are from real photographs that I took. That means that they will give your photos a more organic and realistic look compared to using computer-generated textures. You'll see a mixture of different texture styles, but for this free texture pack I've decided to include a majority of grunge textures as well as textures that look like dust and scratches.
