A Native Art Gallery for the Mac

In plain words

Alexei is a Mac application that displays a rotating gallery of visual art on the user's computer. It solves the problem of accessing diverse artwork without the friction of art books or museum visits. The app pulls from curated collections of historical and contemporary art, allowing users to view a broader range of artistic works beyond social media feeds. It's designed for art enthusiasts who want regular visual inspiration integrated into their daily computing experience.

For years, I had been keeping a fairly large folder of inspiring images from places such as Imgur albums, RuTracker museum collections , /r/ImaginaryNetwork , and /r/museum .
