A Self-Evolving Agentic App Builder (Seeking 300 Beta Testers)
After several months of development, we’re opening a private beta for HowOne, a platform for building agentic apps that can self-optimise and evolve over time. The core idea: turn an idea into a functioning agent-powered app in minutes. The platform includes users, databases, tools, and payment integration out of the box. No glue code. No infra setup. We’re looking for 300 early technical users(invite code CD0AP6) willing to stress-test the system, break things, and tell us what’s missing. This isn’t a marketing push — we need real feedback from builders who care about automation, agent…

This isn’t a marketing push — we need real feedback from builders who care about automation, agent workflows, and rapid product iteration. Beta includes: • 3 months of Pro access • Founding User badge + lifetime discount • Early access to experimental modules • Input on roadmap priorities • Featured slots in the Template Marketplace • 1v1 workflow or app-design coaching If you’re building automations, AI tools, or agentic workflows, we’d appreciate your feedback.

Hello HN! The day has finally come to stop adding features and start sharing what I've been building the last 5-6 months. It's a bit of CrewAI, OpenDevon, LangFuse/Cloud all in one, providing devs who prefer TypeScript an integrated framework thats provides a lot out of the box to start experimenting and building agents with. It started after peeking at the LangChain docs a few times and never liking the example code. I began experimenting with automating a simple Jira request from the engineering team to add an index to one of our Google Spanner databases (for context I'm the…

After adding "Human" as a LLM provider to OpenCode a few months ago as a joke, it turns-out that acting as a LLM is quite painful. But it was surprisingly useful for understanding real agent harnesses dev. So I thought I wouldn't leave anyone out! I made a small oss game - You Are An Agent - youareanagent.app - to share in the (useful?) frustration It's a bit ridiculous. To tell you about some entirely necessary features, we've got: - A full WASM arch-linux vm that runs in your browser for the agent coding level - A bad desktop simulation with a beautiful excel simulation for our computer…

Hi everyone, We have been developing a platform to enable professionals to build AI assistants to help them through their work. After a few months, we realized people are trying to sell basic functionalities that can be built from scratch in a couple of hours. Due to this, individuals who are not familiar with the current SOTA are misinformed about the potential of generative models. So, we decided to open up some of our most popular templates as standalone tools for free to empower individuals and set a solid standard for what people should expect. We believe the barrier to accessing…

Hi HN! Last night, I live streamed myself coding this Llama 2 Agent on a Single GPU (Colab). After 6 hours it actually has some good results. How it works is it takes in your intuition (e.g. "I think x would be cool") and develops a business idea (with a name and branding colors) and a business plan. After the business plan is developed, it criticizes this plan recursively until the "Investor" prompt is satisfied with the plan. After all this it will generate the final MVP idea and pass it to a the React Engineer Agent I live coded 2 days ago…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.

Hey HN, Henry from Cactus here! We previously released Cactus Needle, a 14MB agentic LLM for tool call, device use, and structured extraction for phones, wearables, smart homes, small robots and microcontrollers. We got really great feedback here, and have now incorporated the suggestions to release Needle 2. The whole model is a single 14MB binary that runs a full session in 28MB of RAM; 45m parameters at 2bit compression. Needle hits 500 tokens/sec decode speed on a Raspberry Pi 5, sits between 400-1,500 tokens/sec on VR devices like Meta Quest 3S and Apple Vision Pro, and ranges…

Community, All the HN belong to you. This is an archive of hacker news that fits in your browser. When I made HN Made of Primes I realized I could probably do this offline sqlite/wasm thing with the whole GBs of archive. The whole dataset. So I tried it, and this is it. Have Hacker News on your device. Go to this repo (https://github.com/DOSAYGO-STUDIO/HackerBook): you can download it. Big Query -> ETL -> npx serve docs - that's it. 20 years of HN arguments and beauty, can be yours forever. So they'll never die. Ever. It's the unkillable static archive of HN and it's…
