Chrome extension that emulates the accent system from macOS
Accents launched on February 16, 2019 with 70 votes, #656 of 3,290 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 7 years on.
What it does
Frustrated by the lack of a simple accent system on Windows, we decided to do it ourselves. To use, press the extension icon on the top right of the page. Then, simply hold down a key. This does not work on Google Docs and Gmail YET, but try on google.com.
