AdminCraft Backend V2
Hi HN, I built AdminCore, a secure admin dashboard starter kit for Node.js + React. It includes: - Cookie-based authentication with HttpOnly cookies - Role-based access (admin / user) - Protected routes via middleware - Full CRUD system - Clean SPA admin UI (modals, tabs) I built this after re-implementing the same auth + admin logic on multiple projects. The goal is to save 3–5 days of setup time for devs building SaaS back offices or internal tools. Happy to answer questions or get feedback.

What it does
AdminCraft Backend V2 is a production-ready Node.js/Express backend for SaaS and admin dashboards. Unlike most starter kits, it avoids JWT entirely and uses secure HttpOnly cookies for authentication. It includes role-based access (admin/user/premium), team management, Stripe subscriptions with webhooks, and a clean, auditable Express architecture. Built for developers who want security, simplicity, and speed without over-engineering.

Open SaaS 2.02025 · opensaas.sh · ▲438I launched Open SaaS about a year and a half ago and surprisingly it’s become one of the most popular free SaaS boilerplate starters on github (https://github.com/wasp/open-saas). After 2 years of work total, I’m pleased to launch what I’m calling “Open SaaS v2.0”. Here’s a breakdown of all the features and updates I’ve made to it over time: * New Big, Shiny Things for v2.0 * - Complete redesign with Shadcn UI for a modern and consistent look (themeability coming soon...). - Script that autogenerates an LLM-friendly version of the documentation…

Talanoa▲346Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Hello my name is Ben Ward for the past 3 years I have been remastering the financial game Wall Street Raider created by Michael Jenkins originally on DOS in 1986. It has been a rough journey but I finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I just recently redid the website and thought maybe the full story of how this project came to be would interest you all. Thank you for reading.
