Aegisure

Control & audit layer for your AI coding agents

Aegisure launched on June 24, 2026 with 5 votes, #2,466 of 22,647 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches.

What it does

Most code-governance tools are built for one vendor or one agent. Aegisure is vendor-neutral: write one rule file and it exports to every agent's native format (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, Copilot, Cline). On each PR it runs a static, LLM-free scan for secrets, auth/payment changes, and skipped tests, posts an advisory verdict, and keeps an audit trail. Free open-source CLI + a GitHub App and dashboard with a BYOK audit chatbot over your real PR data.

See, govern, and remember everything every AI coding agent does across vendors.

Aegisure is the control & audit plane for AI coding agents — see, govern, and remember everything every agent does across Codex, Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Cline, and Roo. No card collection. No live charges. Static analysis runs without LLM keys. $ aegisure doctor OK Git repository detected OK .env is ignored WARN Aegisure.md changed; run aegisure export to sync agent files Problem Agents ship code faster than humans can review it. Teams now use multiple coding agents at once. The work moves quickly, but review context gets scattered: who changed auth, which prompt caused the diff, which rules were violated, and what needs repair. Aegisure gives every PR a clear verdict with findings…from aegisure.dev

Since coding agents like Claude Code and Codex came out, I've been pretty obsessed with them. It's hard not to when you're getting a 20x discount on inference. I've also been frustrated by them a lot. I hated walking around with my laptop lid open while connected to a hotspot on my phone, having to tediously accept commands so I don't lose my root directory, and running out of RAM when running multiple agents that were spinning up dev servers in different worktrees at once. A lot of people would say existing cloud agents are the solution to this, as none of the above problems apply to any…

Hey HN – I built a framework called Aegis to govern AI-assisted software development. The core idea is that AI-generated code should follow the same rules as human code: versioned, validated, observable. Aegis enforces this through blueprint-based development, drift detection, and runtime compliance systems. It’s designed for teams using tools like Copilot, Kilo, or Lovable to build production systems with confidence. This isn’t a library — it’s a way to architect AI-native engineering workflows. Would love feedback, questions, and critiques. Especially curious if others are facing similar…

  • Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

  • Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
