What it does
🔐 AES Text Encryptor Protect sensitive text with AES-256-GCM in your browser. Messages stay on your device and use a versioned payload format for safer sharing.
Encrypt and decrypt text in your browser with AES-256-GCM and PBKDF2. Your message stays on your device and nothing is sent to our servers.
Protect sensitive text with AES-256-GCM in your browser. Messages stay on your device and use a versioned payload format for safer sharing. This browser context cannot use Web Crypto. Open the page over HTTPS or localhost in a modern browser to encrypt and decrypt safely. Encryption preserves every character exactly as entered, including spaces and line breaks. If you lose this password, the message cannot be recovered. Use a long unique password for better protection. New encrypted payloads include a version marker so future format upgrades stay compatible. Older Base64 payloads are still supported for decryption. This tool uses the native Web Crypto API directly in your browser. Your…from free2tools.com

But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Hey HN, Henry here from Cactus. We open-sourced Needle, a 26M parameter function-calling (tool use) model. It runs at 6000 tok/s prefill and 1200 tok/s decode on consumer devices. We were always frustrated by the little effort made towards building agentic models that run on budget phones, so we conducted investigations that led to an observation: agentic experiences are built upon tool calling, and massive models are overkill for it. Tool calling is fundamentally retrieval-and-assembly (match query to tool name, extract argument values, emit JSON), not reasoning. Cross-attention…
