Agent Browser
I've built a browser agent harness that outperforms Browser Code on their own benchmark (BU Bench v1), on success rate, speed and cost. Browser Agent: 88% success rate, $5.37, 32,694 seconds Browser Code: 78% success rate, $8.34, 47,970 seconds For browser agents to become ubiquitous, they need to be faster, cheaper, and more reliable. The harness was built with token efficiency in mind (and uses 91% fewer tokens than Browser Code) to reduce the compute and VRAM budget necessary to fine tune a small, specialised model. Because browser agent inference is intermittent, a small specialised…

What it does
Stop wasting tokens on screenshots. Agent Browser helps AI agents browse the web using wireframe snapshots rather than screenshots or DOM dumps.
Token Efficient Agent Browser. Contribute to agent-browser-io/browser development by creating an account on GitHub.
This package lets AI agents control a real browser ( navigate, click, type, interact via ASCII wireframes ) in a token-efficient way. Use it from MCP clients (e.g. Cursor, Claude Desktop) or from code with the Vercel AI SDK . The following is an example of how an agent see the Hacker News website. Web SpeedMay 2026 · getwebspeed.io · ▲118Hey everyone, I've been working on a tool called Web Speed. It takes web pages full of HTML and parses them into an easily readable sitemap for an AI agent. By ensuring the AI doesn't have to analyze the full HTML from the page or screenshots of the page, it makes the agent a lot cheaper and faster. It's MCP-native, so any AI that supports MCP can run it and take control of your browser for you. There are both “normal” and post-auth versions live on GitHub. What I think is the coolest thing about the project is the global cache of sitemaps. When a user visits a site, it takes the sitemap and…
Smooth – Faster, cheaper browser agent API2025 · smooth.sh · ▲54Hey there HN! We're Antonio and Luca, and we're excited to introduce Smooth, a state-of-the-art browser agent that is 5x faster and 7x cheaper than Browser Use (https://docs.circlemind.co/performance). We built Smooth because existing browser agents were slow, expensive, and unreliable. Even simple tasks could take minutes and cost dollars in API credits. We started as users of Browser Use, but the pain was obvious. So we built something better. Smooth is 5x faster, 7x cheaper, and more reliable. And along the way, we discovered two principles that make agents actually work.…
WOZCODEMay 2026 · wozcode.com · ▲194For the last year we've been building an AI mobile app builder. Last week we decided to generalize our agent harness and benchmark it against vanilla Claude Code. Turns out the tools we built for app building were significantly more efficient than the native Claude Code tools. When we ran benchmarks we beat Claude code on speed (~40% faster) , cost (25-55% cheaper) and performance (+17% on Terminal Bench 2.0). Today we're making our agent harness publicly available as a Claude Code plugin. Use code WOZCODE1 to try it for $1 at wozcode.com

Talanoa▲343Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
