AgentWatch
Hi HN, I’m a solo developer and built AgentWatch to solve a problem I kept running into while building AI agents: preventing runaway loops and unexpected LLM spend before requests reach the model. AgentWatch sits in front of OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Groq, and others to enforce budgets and runtime policies. I’d really appreciate your feedback. If you’re building AI agents, does this solve a problem you’ve experienced? I’d also love to hear what you’d improve or challenge.
AgentWatch launched on June 30, 2026 with 12 votes, #1,157 of 22,647 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches.
What it does
AgentWatch is a runtime governance layer for AI agents. Enforce budgets, block infinite loops, apply runtime policies, and monitor every LLM request across OpenAI, Anthropic, Gemini, Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, Groq, and more, with just a 2-line integration.
AgentWatch detects when AI agents are spiraling — behavioral anomaly detection, agent replay, and cross-provider forensics. 2 lines of code. No SDK.

LangWatch2024 · langwatch.ai · ▲669Founder here. Langy is an AI engineer that lives inside our platform, LangWatch. It reads your production traces, writes Scenario tests and evaluations for the problems it finds, opens a pull request on your repo, and proves the fix by running those simulations in CI. A human still merges. Reachy robot from Hugging Face arrived on the same week we were planing on launching it, so we wanted to use for the launch. So we it wired to our Langy which actually lives on the platform, and asked it to test our own customer-support voice agent. On the video you can see it writing the agent tests…

AgentGuard – Auto-kill AI agents before they burn through your budget2025 · github.com · ▲47Your AI agent hits an infinite loop and racks up $2000 in API charges overnight. This happens weekly to AI developers. AgentGuard monitors API calls in real-time and automatically kills your process when it hits your budget limit. How it works: Add 2 lines to any AI project: const agentGuard = require('agent-guard'); await agentGuard.init({ limit: 50 }); // $50 budget // Your existing code runs unchanged const response = await openai.chat.completions.create({...}); // AgentGuard tracks costs automatically When your code hits $50 in API costs, AgentGuard stops…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
