What it does
Rufus is an expert shopping assistant trained on Amazon’s product catalog and the web to answer customer questions on shopping needs, products, and comparisons, make recommendations based on this context, and facilitate product discovery.
With Rufus, customers are now able to shop alongside a generative AI-powered expert that knows Amazon’s selection inside and out.
Rufus is now available to all U.S. customers in the Amazon Shopping app and on desktop. Thousands of dogs join employees at Amazon today, but back in 1996 there was only one: a Welsh corgi named Rufus who roamed the first warehouse and lovedfrom aboutamazon.com
