An IDE with version control for writers – ButterDocs
Felt annoyed with Google Docs' "suggestions", and built an alternative that has git-style branch & merge for better collaboration. We're implementing OT via full-stack Clojure/Script, which was incredibly useful for code-reuse across client and server.
In plain words
ButterDocs is a writing IDE that incorporates version control features similar to Git, allowing writers to create branches and merge changes collaboratively. Built with full-stack Clojure/Script using operational transformation technology, it offers an alternative to Google Docs' suggestion system. The platform is designed for writers and teams who want more control over document collaboration and change management through branching and merging workflows rather than traditional commenting features.
