Arrow JavaScript, Reactivity Without the Framework
A tiny ~2kb library for building reactive interfaces in native JavaScript
Arrow JavaScript, Reactivity Without the Framework launched on September 20, 2025 with 32 votes, #499 of 8,160 launches that month and more than 90% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
In plain words
Arrow JavaScript is a ~2kb library that enables developers to build reactive user interfaces using native JavaScript, without requiring a full framework. It allows reactive state management and interface updates in vanilla JavaScript projects. The library is designed for developers seeking reactivity features while keeping bundle size minimal and avoiding framework overhead.

A tiny, blazing-fast, zero-dependency, type-safe framework. No build step required. Isolate agent-generated UI inside WebAssembly sandboxes while rendering full inline DOM directly in your app — no iframes, no pre-defined components.
A tiny, blazing-fast, zero dependency, type-safe framework with no build step required. ArrowJS ships with the ability to isolate component logic inside Web Assembly sandboxes while rendering full inline DOM directly in your app — no iframes, no pre-defined UI components. Use it to build fast, maintainable applications — or to ship safe, flexible, on-demand UIs for your users without having to plan components in advance. Arrow is a reactive UI framework built around JavaScript primitives: Modules, functions, and template literals. Arrow is just TypeScript, so your coding agent already knows how to use it really well. Unlike other major frameworks, there is no "idomatic" way to use Arrow…from arrow-js.com

Yes, another reactive UI framework for JavaScript. Bear with me, please... :-) I 'invented' the concept for this back in 2011, and it was used (as a proprietary lib) in various startups. Even though many similar open source libs have been released since, and boy have I tried a lot of them, none have been able to capture the elegance and DX of what we had back then. I might be biased though. :-) So I started creating a cleaned-up, modern, TypeScript, open source implementation for the concept about five years ago. After many iterations, working on the project on and off, I'm finally happy…

Dagger.js – A buildless, runtime-only JavaScript micro-framework2025 · daggerjs.org · ▲80TL;DR: dagger.js is a buildless, runtime-only micro-framework that plays nicely with native Web Components. It uses HTML-first directives (e.g. +click, +load) so you can ship a page by dropping a single from a CDN—no bundlers, no compile step. Why I built it Modern stacks are powerful but often heavy: bundlers, compile steps, framework DSLs, local CLIs. For internal tools, small apps, and edge/serverless deployments, I wanted something you can view-source, paste into a page, and ship. What it is: Runtime-only: no build or VDOM compile; hydrate behaviors directly on HTML. HTML…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into! So, I started with embedding apps into the terminal because that is the easiest input/output (output is just utf-8 and I use the great `chafa` library for that, and I just read from stdin for the input). If you have any other ideas for cool Wayland compositors, let me know. I purposedly wrote 80% the app in Typescript to appeal to the most developers and…

Years ago I stumbled across a basic version of this concept and it stuck with me. I knew if I was ever going to take on such a project, it would need to be flawless, but without coding experience it was just another idea that would never happen. By the end of 2024, as AI coding tools exploded everywhere, I finally had a way to make it real. I started from zero knowledge and spent months collaborating with AI agents as a learning experience. Every pixel and every function went through me. The AI translated what I asked for into code, but every decision was human. I didn't use existing OS…
