What it does

Artifact helps people record their stories. We set you up with a professional interviewer in our marketplace and we make it easy, from scheduling to hosting interviews over the phone, to delivering a polished edit that wouldn’t sound out of place on the radio.

We capture family stories and celebrate the people in your life. Artifact’s interviewers do it for you.

After three and a half years, Artifact is shutting down. We are no longer selling new Artifacts, but customers who have purchased in the past may schedule interviews until October 31st. We will continue to host completed Artifact interviews on our website through 2024. To our customers: Thank you for the opportunity to serve you! Interviews are 30 minutes (we schedule for 45 so no one feels rushed), held over the phone or computer. An Artifact interview feels like a conversation with an old friend — someone who wants to hear what you have to say about a subject you know intimately and is great at asking questions and giving you prompts to help you do just that.
