ArtRack
A new inventory management app made by artists for artists
ArtRack launched on June 2, 2023 with 3 votes, #2,278 of 4,655 launches that month. The site was still online in September 2026, 3 years on.
What it does
ArtRack is the answer to the question, "Why can't tech be used to empower artists rather than profit off of them?" It is a desktop application available for a one time fee of $3: no subscription, no tracking, no data mining, no freemium or tiered pricing.
A collection & inventory management system made by artists for artists. Works offline. Showcase you galleries and easily monetize your art. A creator platform.
ArtRack is an affordable and utilitarian inventory management system. Disrupting a market overwhelmed by subscription fees, data harvesting, and the false promise of the freemium model, ArtRack is offering artists a low-cost alternative. In 2017, Joshua Nierodzinski and Nataša Prljević started creating Nomadic Objects, an ongoing series of collages made from personal documentary, harmonizing the fragments of unwanted artwork salvaged from artist’s studios, streets, and galleries of New York City. Nomadic Objects exist as sort of dissonant sites and letters which bring together color exercises, public and private memorials, architecture, and senses. The app is entirely free to use, has no ads, third party analytics, trackers, subscriptions or other junk. It does offer…

Heya HN, I've been working on a reddit-like platform as my primary side project for the last few years. Doing a (very) soft launch today, mainly because I want to use it to encourage discussion of alternatives. How non.io works: 1. Free to browse, paid to interact. 2. Minimum subscription is $2 (though you can choose more). I take $1 to run the servers, everything left gets split evenly between everything you upvote that month.
