AudioMuse-AI
I just want to share my free and opensource GitHub repo, AudioMuse-AI: https://github.com/NeptuneHub/AudioMuse-AI It is able to do sonic analysis locally on your homelab thanks to Librosa and Tensorflow and the thanks of this analysis can find sonic similar song, useful for instant mix, playlist creation or song path. Thanks to API it works with Jellyfin and all the open subsonic API music server like Navidrome or Lightweight Music Server (LMS). If you like please share your feedback on GitHub and leave a star on the repository.
AudioMuse-AI launched on September 14, 2025 with 2 votes. The site was still online in September 2026, 1 year on.
What it does
AudioMuse-AI leverages Librosa and TensorFlow for sonic analysis, powering similar song discovery and smart playlists within Jellyfin and Navidrome API. - NeptuneHub/AudioMuse-AI
AudioMuse-AI uses sonic analysis to rediscover forgotten songs, uncover hidden connections in your music library, and generate intelligent playlists for Navidrome, Jellyfin, LMS, Lyrion, Emby and Plex: no metadata or external services required. - NeptuneHub/AudioMuse-AI

Hey HN! I just shipped a project I’ve been working on called Maroofy: https://maroofy.com You can search for any song, and it’ll use the song’s audio to find other similar-sounding music. Demo: https://twitter.com/subby_tech/status/1621293770779287554 How does it work? I’ve indexed ~120M+ songs from the iTunes catalog with a custom AI audio model that I built for understanding music. My model analyzes raw music audio as input and produces embedding vectors as output. I then store the embedding vectors for all songs into a vector database, and use semantic…
- FAFree AI-based music demixing in the browser2023 · sevag.xyz · ▲190
Hi all, I've spent some time working on music demixing or music source separation algorithms, which take in a mixed song and output estimates of isolated components (e.g. vocals, drums, bass, other). I took a popular PyTorch model with good performance (Open-Unmix, UMX-L weights), reimplemented the inference steps in C++, and compiled it to WebAssembly for a free client-side music demixer.
- MAMusic Audio Search Engine Using OpenAI's Embeddings on GPT Descriptions2023 · muzic-sage.vercel.app · ▲92
I am excited to announce a new tool for music producers and audio enthusiasts - a music audio search engine. With just a simple description of the groove you're looking for, our semantic search engine will output the most similar audio in seconds. I used the Freesound.org API to upload over 3,000 grooves to MongoDB, and combined all the relevant data such as tags, title, description, BPM, etc. into OpenAI's Text-Davinci to generate a unique description of each sound. I then embedded these descriptions using the Ada Embeddings Model and inserted them into Pinecone DB vector database, making…
- GAGaliboo – An A.I.-powered API for music2018 · ▲61
Hi guys! At our startup, Galiboo, we've created an AI-powered API for music, which can do things like: - searching for music with natural language - extracting hundreds of moods & emotions from any track - finding tracks by tags - get similar-sounding music - and more. The website is https://galiboo.com/, and the API docs are at apidocs.galiboo.com. We've also got a live demo at demo.galiboo.com. We also have a Python client library at https://github.com/galiboo/galiboo-python. Our APIs are in beta, so we'd love to hear your thoughts & feedback! :) Thanks!
PianolyzeNov 2025 · pianolyze.com · ▲149Hey HN, I'm a pianist who's always been obsessed with understanding how great players think through harmony. What voicings are they using? How do they voice lead through changes? What's actually happening under their hands? Back in 2022, I built Harmonic Analyzer (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iNgSgvUmiOs) – a Mac app that used ML to transcribe polyphonic piano recordings. It got some traction, but I never quite finished it. Requiring users to download a Mac app felt like unnecessary friction, and I didn’t want to limit distribution to Mac users. I just shipped Pianolyze…

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

The site hit #1 on HN about a year ago. Got enough traffic that I turned it into a proper API. What's there: - REST API — 35k products, manually filterable by category, free key, 60 req/min - CLI — npx anycrap random -c food - faker.js plugin — bundled, no API call, works offline - HuggingFace dataset — full 35k rows for ML/training https://anycrap.shop/developers

I made a built-from scratch Wayland Compositor to display any GUI app* in the terminal! I think there is a lot of unexplored potential in custom Wayland compositors, a lot of really cool things you can embed existing applications into! So, I started with embedding apps into the terminal because that is the easiest input/output (output is just utf-8 and I use the great `chafa` library for that, and I just read from stdin for the input). If you have any other ideas for cool Wayland compositors, let me know. I purposedly wrote 80% the app in Typescript to appeal to the most developers and…

Years ago I stumbled across a basic version of this concept and it stuck with me. I knew if I was ever going to take on such a project, it would need to be flawless, but without coding experience it was just another idea that would never happen. By the end of 2024, as AI coding tools exploded everywhere, I finally had a way to make it real. I started from zero knowledge and spent months collaborating with AI agents as a learning experience. Every pixel and every function went through me. The AI translated what I asked for into code, but every decision was human. I didn't use existing OS…
