What it does
I was putting in many hours into configuring my OpenClaw agent —fine-tuning prompts, building memory, and perfecting workflows. Needed a back up solution. You can point OpenClaw to the NPM locally. Didn't want to lose it to a hardware failure, theft, fire, etc. either. Built BackupClaw with my brother to secure your bot with privacy-first, zero-knowledge encryption. Keep distinct versions locally for free or automate off-site backups to our encrypted cloud. Launch offer of $0.99/mth.
Privacy-first backups for OpenClaw bots — local for free, or encrypted cloud backups on a schedule.

I made a privacy-first minimalist Backblaze2022 · blobbackup.com · ▲236Creator here. I was looking for something as simple as Backblaze Personal [1] but privacy focused and open source. This is my attempt to build that. Uses PyQt6 [2] for the GUI and Pyinstaller [3] for creating the platform specific binaries. The backup engine under the hood is Restic [4]. The server code is written in Laravel [5]. All the code is on GitHub [6]. I actually really like Backblaze (even use B2 for this offering behind the scenes) so this isn't meant to throw shade their way. Just wanted a private open source alternative. Something like Bitwarden but for backups. [1]…

I trained a 125M-parameter transformer to autocomplete piano performances in real time (~108 notes/sec on an iPhone 15). The idea is basically GitHub Copilot or Tabnine, except instead of prompting it with code, you prompt it by playing a few notes on a MIDI piano. The model then continues what you played, entirely on-device. The app is free if anyone wants to try it. Happy to answer questions about the model, training, Core ML, or the many things that didn't work.
