What it does
Built for Ghostty and macOS, might work with other things, idk, I haven't tested it. uv tool install git+https://github.com/spencerldixon/lime If you don't have uv: curl -LsSf https://astral.sh/uv/install.sh | sh This puts a lime command on your PATH. uv fetches its own Python and keeps the dependencies in an isolated environment, so it will not disturb any Python you already have. The first time you run lime, macOS asks whether to allow it to control Ghostty. Say yes. Moving between headings works by asking Ghostty to scroll its own viewport, over the Apple Events automation link. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
