What it does

BetterZip is a powerful Mac archiver – open, create, and edit ZIP, RAR, 7z, TAR, DMG, and many more formats. Quick Look, Spotlight, Shortcuts, custom formats.

BetterZip 6 adds icon view and column view to the existing flat-list and outline views – so you can pick the layout that fits the archive or your preference. Image archives and comic books get a full-screen image viewer that runs without extracting anything. A preset captures all the archiving options available: the destination folder, format, encryption, filters, file-renaming rules, conflict resolution policy, and an optional post-processing action – shell script, AppleScript, Automator workflow, or Shortcut.
