Bitbox.co – Cloud Storage for Developers
I've decided to bite the bullet and release Bitbox.co and get some feedback. I've been coding for years and one of the things I constantly see companies do is write and rewrite a document storage system, so I decided to write one for them. Bitbox.co uses cloud storage (currently Azure) to store documents but can be coded to use any cloud service. Documents can be public or private and URLs to that document can be used directly in HTML. There are currently a list of WebAPIs for developers to use as a tool, or build an entire system around. This is an MVP and it's simple. Upload a file, get a…

In plain words
Bitbox.co is a cloud storage API designed for developers who need to manage document storage without building their own system from scratch. It stores files on cloud services like Azure and provides WebAPIs for uploading, retrieving, and converting documents between formats. Files can be marked public or private, with direct URLs embeddable in HTML. The service works on a simple token-based system: upload a file, receive a token, and retrieve the file by sending the token back.

Talanoa▲340Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
