Black Light Pro
Color effects on a schedule
Black Light Pro launched on October 22, 2018 with 88 votes, #473 of 2,827 launches that month and more than 75% of that year's launches. The site was still online in September 2026, 7 years on.
What it does
Black Light Pro lets you add visual effects on your screen to rest your eyes or to have fun. Setup your effects and switch when needed with a hotkey or at predetermined times, including sunrise or sunset. Invert and make the screen all-red if you’re into astronomy. Tint with orange-yellow to help you sleep better, or blue to keep you awake.
Black Light Pro is no longer. Its functionalities have been merged into Black Light 3 . Have a Black Light Pro license? You are also eligible to an upgrade price when buying Black Light 3 . Or if you purchased from the App Store app, use it to reinstall Black Light Pro from your purchase history. The invert filter does not work in macOS Sierra 10.12.4 through 10.12.6 due to a bug in macOS. Upgrade to High Sierra to get a functioning invert filter. Applying effects using a color profile is not available on the Mac App Store version of the app due to sandboxingfrom michelf.ca
