In plain words

Bored Last Night is a tool that identifies a user's most followed followers on social media. Created as a quick three-hour project, it helps users understand which of their followers have the largest audiences themselves. The tool is designed for social media users interested in analyzing their follower base and discovering influential connections. It launched in January 2012 and is available at fruji.com.

I built this site as a quick test if a time boxed social media experience feels better than an endless one. So far I've just been using it with friends and it feels nice, but it seems like it is time to bring it to a larger audience. Let me know what you think! It is just based on EST for now, sorry.

Ever wanted to track who unfollowed you last month? Or who followed your competitor last month? Or how your social graph is growing over time? SocialGrapple does this. I've been working on SocialGrapple for a few months (since stepping down from imoveyou.com, YC2010S), this week I got the core product to the point where I'm proud of it so I want to show it off: http://socialgrapple.com/ I wrote up a blog post with some screenshots that will get you an idea of what SocialGrapple looks like: "SocialGrapple snapshot: @limedaring's social graph growth after her HackerNews publicity"…

I have been taking Andrew Ng's Machine Learning course. The lecture module on Neural Networks ends with an intriguing video of the ALVINN autonomous car driving itself along normal roads at CMU in the mid 90s. I was inspired by that video to see what I could build myself. A link to my incomplete write up was posted a couple of weeks ago (ouch!) but I finally finished it and open sourced the code tonight (so you can build your own self driving car).
