What it does
Kava is a plant from certain pacific islands such as Vanuatu and Fiji. You grind up the roots of the plant and knead with water to extract kavalactones. Drinking this relaxes you and/or can be a social lubricant. It doesn't come with a hangover and despite old data and incorrect articles, does not harm your liver as much as alcohol does. Bula Buddy is a free iOS app for kava drinkers. You log your sessions, follow friends, like/comment, and rate locations (i.e. kava bars).
Bula Buddy is a free, independent app built for the simple ritual of slowing down and sharing a shell (or cup). We offer both an iOS app and a web app, so choose the one above that fits your device. You may keep track of when you drink kava, kratom, and other teas; and/or, post a regular journal entry. So, Bula Buddy is here for you no matter what you want to log. It’s not just for you, though.
