What it does
BuoyBro is a simple little widget that provides you with a live report of the current conditions at your local surf break. Drawing from the live data recorded by hundreds of ocean buoys, and tying in waves, wind, and tide, this app lets you keep your eyes on your local spot at all times - whether you're at home, in the office, or on the road. No more messy websites and cross-references surf apps - just a quick look at BuoyBro and you know exactly when to go.
Current wave height, wave period, swell direction, wind, and tide — all in one clear, clean widget. Check your real-time local surf conditions at a glance - and receive a notification when your spot is on. Your local conditions at a glance, right on your lock or Home Screen. Choose from over 150 buoys coast-to-coast. The last three readings are also displayed in the app, to show if the swell is building or dropping. Pin your local conditions to your desktop!
