In plain words

Offbrand is a C library providing generic, reference-counted data structures like resizable arrays for C programmers. It eliminates the need to reimplement standard data structures for each application. The library includes mkobc, a code generation tool that creates class skeletons automatically, reducing boilerplate code required to make custom data types compatible with the library's data structures.

From the sources

offbrand is a collection of reference counted generic data structures written in pure C for the C programmer. The library is intended to relieve the common need to reimplement a standard data structures in an application. Never again need to write an automatically resizing array for your application specific datatype and use the vector included in offbrand instead. The library also includes a script, mkobc (MaKe OffBrand Class), that generates new class skeletons for you, so you don't have to write a single piece of the boilerplate code required to make a datatype compatible with the data structure library. Just generate your new type with the script and add application specific logic to…from theck01.github.io
