Carvia
Buying a used car in the US usually means paying $40+ for a Carfax or AutoCheck report — or worse, falling into “free VIN check” sites that upsell hidden subscriptions. We thought that was broken. So we built Carvia: $9.99 per report – no subscriptions, no hidden fees. Comprehensive data – accidents, ownership, mileage, recalls, title issues, theft, etc. AI-powered insights – we generate a simple Carvia Score (1–5), depreciation curves, risk flags, and cost-of-ownership guidance. Modern UX – clean, mobile-friendly reports that first-time buyers and parents can actually understand. Every…

What it does
Need a car but know nothing about cars? Carvia.ai turns a boring VIN into clear, human advice—no jargon, no BS. We help you shop smarter, avoid money pits, and feel like the car expert in the room (even if you’ve never popped a hood).
AI-powered vehicle insights that turn browsers into buyers. Supercharge your VDPs and maximize listing performance with Carvia's dealer tools.
Shoppers leave your VDP to research. We give them those answers before they bounce. Carvia embeds directly on your vehicle pages — so shoppers get insights and you get quality conversions. This 2018 Land Rover Range Rover HSE is a well-maintained example with a clean title and full service history. The diesel engine delivers excellent fuel economy for a vehicle of this size, and the Terrain Response system makes it equally at home on pavement or off-road. All factory options are present and functioning. Carvia has outperformed the default VDP experience in every A/B test we've run. Impact = relative lift vs. before. The size of a dot = year (newer = larger), plus I colored 2007 .. 2011 in different colors to find "fresh" cars quicker. This is just some sample data from the last 24 hours, relatively cheap cars under $32,000 within 500 mile radius of NYC.

I built the world's most impractical 1000-pixel display and anyone in the world can draw on it. It draws a single pixel at a time and takes 30-60 minutes to complete a single image. Anyone can participate in the project by voting for the next image to be drawn, and submitting images. https://kilopx.com/

Kitten TTS is an open-source series of tiny and expressive text-to-speech models for on-device applications. We are excited to launch a preview of our smallest model, which is less than 25 MB. This model has 15M parameters. This release supports English text-to-speech applications in eight voices: four male and four female. The model is quantized to int8 + fp16, and it uses onnx for runtime. The model is designed to run literally anywhere eg. raspberry pi, low-end smartphones, wearables, browsers etc. No GPU required! We're releasing this to give early users a sense of the latency and voices…

I was wondering how I can arrange objects along a spherical helix path, and read some articles on it. I ended up learning about parametric equations again, and make this visualization to document what I learned: https://visualrambling.space/moving-objects-in-3d/ feel free to visit and let me know what you think!

For HTML Day 2025 [1], I made a web service that displays the current sky at your approximate location as a CSS gradient. Colours are simulated on-demand using atmospheric absorption and scattering coefficients. Updates every minute, without the use of client-side JavaScript.
