What it does
Charter is an offline-first CLI that audits any repo against 18 rules and returns a deterministic 0–100 score in under 2 seconds.
AI agents are only as good as the repo they work in — missing context, exposed secrets, and unpinned tools quietly wreck their output. Charter grades yours in under two seconds: a 0–100 readiness score across nine categories, every gap paired with a concrete fix. No cloud, no account, no telemetry — it runs fully offline , and the same check holds the line in CI. Agents trip on the same handful of things — missing context, secrets in plain sight, an unpinned MCP server, no way to verify their own work. This is the real v1 catalog: every rule carries an ID , a severity that sets its score weight, and the exact thing it checks. No dashboard. No account. No telemetry. CyrisApr 2026 · cyrisai.dev · ▲98"Cyris is the orchestration layer your AI agents are missing. Whether you're a two-person startup or a 10,000-employee health system — connect agents from OpenClaw, Claude, GPT-4o, Ollama, EPIC, or any platform and have them coordinate, hand off, and escalate across your entire organization. Self-hosted. Auditable. Human-governed" Just a side project I've been working on, and was curious whether people would actually find something like this useful! I'd recommend checking out the sandbox as well.

API AI Readiness ScorecardJun 2026 · github.com · ▲21We previously open-sourced a rubric for assessing APIs for agent-readiness (carefully designed by some colleagues who are deeply involved with the OpenAPI initiative). We hosted a nice web app for scoring an API according to this rubric (a mix of deterministic and LLM-based assessment), and learned people were hacking it into their CI/CD pipelines for regression testing and longitudinal tracking. So we just released a nice CLI to make that easier, with a decent free tier.

Talanoa▲341Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…

Homebrew 6.0.0▲1,481Today, I’m proud to announce Homebrew 6.0.0. The most significant changes since 5.1.0 are a new tap trust security mechanism, the new faster, smaller, default internal Homebrew JSON API, sandboxing on Linux, better defaults informed by our user survey, many brew bundle improvements, improved performance and initial support for macOS 27 (Golden Gate). Happy to discuss any questions here!

Hi HN! I was super frustrated at apps like tiktok and wechat preventing me from saving or downloading the animated gifs, so I made a little tool to turn a screen recording into a slack-sized emoji. Hope you get some value from this!
