In plain words

Claudoscope is a free, open-source macOS menu bar app that helps Claude Code users browse session history, search conversations, and track token costs across projects using Anthropic or Vertex AI pricing. It includes built-in security features that detect leaked API keys and credentials, plus a configuration linter that validates setup files against 19 rules. The app runs entirely locally on macOS with zero telemetry, supports Enterprise API deployments, and is built in native Swift without Electron.

Free open-source macOS menu bar app for Claude Code. Browse full session history, search across conversations, track token costs per project with Anthropic or Vertex AI pricing. Built-in secret detection scans every session for leaked API keys, tokens, and credentials. Config health linter runs 19 rules against your CLAUDE.md files, skills, and hooks. Works with Enterprise API deployments (no cookies needed). Native Swift/SwiftUI, 100% local, zero telemetry. MIT licensed.

Free open-source macOS menu bar app for Claude Code and Cowork. Browse sessions, track costs, catch leaked secrets, and harden your ~/.claude/ setup in one click. Works with Enterprise API. Zero telemetry, 100% local.

A native macOS menu bar app that watches your Claude Code and Cowork sessions and tells you when something needs you: a runaway session, a leaked credential, or Claude waiting on an answer. Full history, cost analytics, and one-click hardening. Zero telemetry, 100% local. From real-time token tracking to deep configuration browsing, all running natively on your Mac. Watches ~/.claude/projects/ via macOS FSEvents for near-instant file change detection. No polling, no Electron. Aggregates token usage across input, output, and cache, maps it to Anthropic or Vertex AI pricing, and visualizes your sessions, spending patterns, and usage over time. Estimates are reconciled against real Anthropic…from claudoscope.com

Hey all! Like many of you, I've been using Claude daily and kept having a hidden fear: when my limit will be reached? How much I have consumed in this session? Im ending up going back and forth to settings > usage to check Literally every 5mns So I built ClaudeUsageBar, a minimal menu bar app that shows your Claude usage percentage at a glance. What it does: Shows your current session (5-hour) and weekly usage directly in the menu bar Notifies you at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 90% thresholds so you can pace yourself Displays exactly when your limits reset Works with both Free and Pro plans Privacy…

I kept hitting Claude's 5-hour limit without realizing it, so I made this menu bar app to track it. Shows a color-coded ring (green/orange/red) and countdown to reset. Built it in Swift/SwiftUI, just for myself initially. Right now you have to manually grab your sessionKey from browser DevTools, which is annoying but works. Stores it in macOS Keychain so it's secure. Been actively working on it, already at v1.3.0 with much better UX now. It's open source (MIT) and works with all Claude platforms (web/CLI/desktop/mobile) since they share the quota. Currently…

Hi HN, I’m a fullstack developer, and honestly, I’ve lost count of how many side projects I’ve worked on over the years. But one idea kept coming back to me: a different kind of email client. It first came to me in 2014: “What if we could handle emails more like conversations?” Every year, I’d revisit this concept in my “Build Notes.” Ten years later, no one had built exactly what I had in mind — so I finally decided to do it myself. That’s how Talanoa was born. I wanted something focused on people, not timelines. I was tired of marking messages as unread just to remember to reply later, or…
