What it does

Cloud Coding is a way to use Claude Code in a VM Sandbox. The key feature of it is "templates" which allow users to "script" Claude Code to perform a sequence of prompts such as: - prompt 1: write a plan - prompt 2: implement the plan In a single run.

The creator, Sean Sullivan , now uses Claude Code on the web and recommends you do too. "Businesses exist to offer a better deal to the customer than anyone else can." I believe this is the best deal on the market, so there's no point in me maintaining Cloud Codingfrom cloudcoding.ai

  Today I'm releasing Cloud Code: A way to prompt claude code from the cloud. It lets you select a repo, a template of messages (or you can create your own) and you can then create your queries which runs through claude code synchronously to complete your task. Our system is set up for long running tasks and is so new that it doesn't even support streaming yet, we just send the final message at the end of the run. To test its effectiveness, I used it to create the mobile view for the cloudcoding site itself which works really well, meaning you can use it through your phone!

  I've been working on CloudRouter, a skill + CLI that gives coding agents like Claude Code and Codex the ability to start cloud VMs and GPUs. When an agent writes code, it usually needs to start a dev server, run tests, open a browser to verify its work. Today that all happens on your local machine.
