What it does

CodePet is a local-first desktop companion for AI coding. It watches supported agent workflows and workspaces, surfaces key moments, creates checkpoints before changes, records structured progress, and builds editable handoff packs for another agent or teammate. Continue from Codex in Cursor, TRAE, or another tool without re-explaining the whole task. Completion, delivery, and validation stay separate, so you can see what happened, what was checked, what remains, and what to do next.

  I initially built this for myself but some folks asked me to open access to it. Let me explain what I built and why.
