What it does
Since our launch, Slides has been an amazing place to create, share, and live present presentations. Today, we’re excited to publicly unveil the top-most requested feature on Slides: shared editing of presentations, what we’re calling Collaborate.
We’re very excited to publicly unveil shared editing of presentations – what we’re calling Collaborate . Start by inviting a collaborator and assigning a role — to view and comment, edit, or have access to invite others, too. Comments are made on the active slide, so the context is tracked and browsable. There's also a master comment thread showing the entire conversation. Collaborators are notified of activity in the app. If new comments arrive while they're offline, we'll email them a summary. The sidebar shows who's online and who else is viewing the slide you're on. Sign in to give it a try! If you're not already a member, you can sign up for free.
