What it does

Commit Art is a place to paint your GitHub contributions for whatever reasons you might have. It's primarily for fun. You shouldn't use this tool for your next job interview, that's clear. Feel free to use Commit Art to spicy up developers discussions.

Paint your own GitHub contribution graph. Type text, insert icons, or freehand draw pixel art, then share it. Free commit art maker, no login required.

Type any GitHub username to see your art on a mockup profile. Just a fun preview, not real activity. No. Commit Art never creates commits or touches your GitHub account, it's a fake grid you paint on for fun. No login, no account, nothing saved on a server. Just open the page and start painting. Yes, type up to 9 characters and hit Stamp it, or pick an icon from the emoji picker to mix in. Typing and stamping text works fine on mobile. Freehand pixel painting is desktop-only, touch isn't precise enough for it. Those tools create backdated commits in a real repo. Commit Art never touches git, it's just a shareable image or link.
